Cantar Para Ser Libre
The song "Cantar para ser libre" captured the imagination of my dear friends Daniel Giovenco and Buquino Cabrera, seen here backstage In the Marcelo Caballero Auditorium in Jáchal, Argentina. Buquino performed this song under the working title "Cantoras" referring to the women celebrated in the tune and who are my heroes: Mercedes Sosa, Chabuca Granda, and Violeta Parra.
